RidgeMonkey is a leading brand in the angling industry, renowned for innovative products and a strong presence in the market. We are looking for a talented Social Media Content Creator to join our dynamic creative team and help elevate our brand’s digital presence.
We’re seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented Social Media Content Creator with a passion for the angling market. You’ll be confident using DSLR, action cameras and smartphones, with strong editing skills, a good understanding of platform formats and best practices and the ability to self-manage while travelling regularly. You’ll work closely with anglers on the bank, capturing product and lifestyle content, supported by a dedicated marketing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and produce engaging content for various social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok.
- Capture high-quality images and videos using a DSLR, action cameras and smartphones.
- Edit photos and videos to create polished, professional content.
- Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and execute content ideas.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends and platform updates to ensure content remains relevant and effective.
- Engage with the online community, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
- Monitor analytics to gauge the success of campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
- Travel to various locations for content shoots and events.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Content Creator or similar role.
- Proficiency in using a DSLR, action cameras and smartphones for content creation.
- Strong editing skills with software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent.
- Excellent understanding of social media platforms, formats and best practices.
- Highly creative with a keen eye for detail.
- Self-managed with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of the angling market is essential.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive.
- Good home broadband access.
