Role Overview
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Customer Support Advisor to join the RidgeMonkey team. This role sits at the heart of our customer experience, supporting anglers and outdoor users by providing knowledgeable, efficient and brand-appropriate support across multiple channels.
Core Responsibilities:
- Handle customer enquiries via email, phone, live chat and social platforms
- Provide accurate, helpful product advice across the RidgeMonkey range
- Support customers with order tracking, returns, warranties and aftersales queries
- Resolve customer issues efficiently while maintaining a positive experience
- Maintain a consistent, friendly and professional brand tone in all communications
- Log, track and update customer interactions using internal systems
- Escalate technical or complex issues to the appropriate teams when required
Product & Brand Knowledge:
- Build strong knowledge of RidgeMonkey products, features and innovations
- Confidently support carp angling–related questions and product use
- Stay up to date with new product launches, updates and changes
Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with warehouse, sales and marketing teams to resolve enquiries
- Identify recurring issues, customer feedback and emerging product trends
- Support the ongoing improvement of customer service processes
Skills & Experience:
- Previous customer service experience, ideally within e-commerce or retail
- Carp angling knowledge or a genuine interest in the sport is highly desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving ability with attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently in a remote or hybrid environment
- Confident using email, CRM systems and basic IT tools
