Fishing is in my blood. My Dad was a keen carp angler so I had a good teacher. I was about 8 years old when I first started going with him. I have not stopped since. I have learnt the old school way, float fishing into tench fishing, then carp fishing.
I like catching all carp, though I prefer to target big gravel pits that offer the greatest challenge when they are combined with a low stock of fish. I feel a huge sense of achievement when you catch that type of fish. I try to get on with all anglers and just really enjoy all aspects of angling. I feel I am a pretty well rounded angler and can fish at mega range or under the rod tips. With boilies or particles basically whatever is needed to catch. I just enjoy carp fishing and feel I will be doing it all my life.
