I’m a 31 year old PE Teacher and Head of Year from Essex. I’ve been fishing since the age of 12 when my Grandad & Step Dad took me Carp fishing and I was hooked from that session onwards! I tend to fish a number of venues throughout the year and target lakes with a large stock of fish with a handful of gems to aim for. I try to fish once or twice a week but with a busy work schedule during term time and commitment to a football team, sometimes that can be difficult. I fish alone most of the time, but I try to fish with friends as much as possible because I do love a social! In the near future, I aim to catch my first UK 40, but not just any UK 40, an old scaley 40 from the small, intimate waters I love to fish.
