I have been fishing for 40 years and started on the rivers learning the basics with my mates. I moved onto the carp scene when I was 20, fishing the local day ticket waters and eventually moved onto club lakes.

Another one of my favourites is Chilham Mill, it’s full of special carp. I then got onto the syndicates around Kent: Mid Kent Fisheries, Swan and Tonford and the Chilston Stour, both of which have some special carp in them. Carp fishing is not just a hobby, it’s my passion, being out there in all weathers trying to land these special carp.
