Tested, tweaked and developed by Dave Levy, Jay Cater, Max Cottis and the RidgeMonkey Pro anglers with huge amounts of big carp to well over 80lb captured during testing, all items in the range have been tailored to provide the conscientious angler with a variety of products to outwit the cagiest of fish.
Soft Braid
Ultra fine braided hooklink material. Super supple, the RM-Tec Soft Braid is perfect for use in solid PVA bags and as an ideal alternative hooklink when targeting pressured fish that have seen it all before. Brilliant for use as the supple section of a traditional Combi rig, offering ultimate flexibility. Excellent abrasion resistance and low visibility finish.

Soft Coated Braid
Supple braided core hooklink material with a soft removable coating. Perfect for fishing over silty bottoms or detritus, the soft coating allows the rig to fall in a natural manner while retaining good anti-tangle properties. Excellent abrasion resistance and low visibility finish.

Stiff Coated Braid
Supple braided core hooklink material with a super-stiff removable coating. Featuring tremendous anti-tangle qualities, the Stiff Coated Hooklink will noticeably ‘kick’ away from the chosen lead set-up when using balanced or buoyant hookbaits. Ideal for fishing over clean, hard bottoms or any other situation that requires a stiff rig section. Excellent abrasion resistance and low visibility finish.

Lead Free Leader
Extra supple, spliceable woven braid leader material, ideal when abrasion resistance is a critical factor. Fluorocarbon Hooklink
Ultra low visibility 100% fluorocarbon hooklink material. Nearly invisible when submerged, the high density RM-Tec Fluorocarbon will pin itself to the lakebed and is suitable for a wide range of applications. Originally developed as a hooklink material with medium flexibility, also perfect when used as a concealment leader when targeting particularly wary fish.

Chod/Stiff Rig Material
High memory, high diameter nylon stiff rig filament. Created using the unique RM-Tec Easi-Curve technology, the Chod/Stiff Rig Material can be curved into shape by simply drawing between thumb & forefinger. Should you need to re-straighten the rig for any reason, this can be achieved with a firm pull between two rig tools: no need to steam. Brilliant for use in any rig that requires a stiff section.

Braided Shock Leader
Ultra strong, zero stretch braided shock leader. Essential for distance casting, a strong shock leader will reduce the chances of a crack off. The RM-Tec Braided Shock Leader has been developed to help load the rod as quickly as possible, with all casting energy being transferred to the blank. The limp braid absolutely flies through the rings on the cast and settles flush to the lakebed. Low detection Camo finish.
