Overview

Harnessing the power of a rigid air frame constructed from an interconnected network of inflatable ribs, the XFi Airect Bivvy goes from flat-packed to fully upright and rigid in only a few minutes. Simply connect the included hand pump (or use a compatible electric air pump, sold separately) to the single inflation point and inflate to the correct pressure to create a rigid, robust and secure structure out of thin air.

The XFi Airect Bivvy can be easily manoeuvred into the optimal position after inflation, allowing you to adjust the layout of your living space to your liking. The modular design has been engineered with the modern angler in mind, allowing you to adjust your setup to suit your evolving needs by connecting functional ‘pods’ to either side of the bivvy (sold separately). You can effectively double your usable footprint by adding a sheltered kitchen/storage area and/or a private shower & toilet facility alongside your living quarters, elevating your bankside experience to new levels of comfort and convenience.

The bivvy itself features the same signature Colourfast Grade V, flame resistant, waterproof and breathable 300D ripstop HydroX skin with tape-sealed seams as its XF predecessors with the addition of the highly rated inner capsule and vapour shield to help the setup stay ventilated and condensation-free. Both of these lightweight mesh features can be easily removed or left connected to the bivvy to speed up the pack-down/setup time. The fixed heavy-duty groundsheet ensures your living quarters stay dry and protected from the ground for the duration of your stay whilst the removable front door can be zipped to either the main living quarters of the Bivvy or to the front peak, creating an additional sheltered front porch area.

The same thoughtful details as standard with all premium RidgeMonkey bankside accommodation include customisable 360° insect mesh ventilation (easily adjustable from both inside and outside), heavy-duty zips, reinforced pegging points, magnetic rod straps and multiple removable and fixed accessory pockets. Optional support bars, heavy-duty ‘T’ pegs and guy ropes are also included to maximise the tension, security and rigidity of the bivvy when it is fixed into place. All of these parts are stored in a separate zipped storage bag from the bivvy’s own bag, both featuring plenty of room and convenient carry handles for easy transport.
